How To Use:
Right-click inside the text area that contains the text you wish to protect. Then select For Humans!. Note that this works with all text areas!

This brings up the dialog that shows you a preview of your text-as-an-image, and lets you can change the distortion parameters.

When you click "Upload", the image gets uploaded to the image hosting server where it gets a random ID. The text area is then automatically populated with a link that can be used to retrieve the image.

Remember that, whoever knows this link is able to retrieve your message!
When posting some message on "What's on your mind"-box please press Enter after the plugin has populated the box with the link to the image - this causes Facebook to try fetching the image from the server in order to generate a preview. If you do not do press Enter after the link, chances are that the link will not get posted properly.
Other text boxes on Facebook, for example where you post comments on pictures, should work with the plugin normally.
While you can post some message on the "Share what's new"-box of Google+, it is more efficient to use the "Add link" option of that box, and invoke the plugin from there. This is because the plugin creates a link to the image that contains your message. Google+ will then automatically fetch your message and show it to other users without them having to click on any link!
